One of the Czech Republic’s most forward-thinking music fests kicks off with a bang this weekend at Prague’s Archa Theatre. The Prague Philharmonia opens the gala on Friday with new classical works by John Adams, Heiner Goebbels, Terry Riley and John Zorn. On Saturday, workshops discussions with composers run throughout the day, followed by an evening concert of Polish, Czech and Icelandic ensembles.
